La Nouvelle Chicane
Formula 1 has been woven into the fabric of my life since childhood. I've had the rare privilege of immersing myself in the nostalgic charm of its golden era, especially amidst the serpentine curves of the Monte Carlo circuit. Capturing the Monte Carlo Historic races, I sought to narrate these events like a cinematic tale, endeavoring to encapsulate the essence and emotions I experienced in each shot.
Monte Carlo is the only circuit in the world where you can truly feel the heartbeat of the race, in the most literal and intimate sense. The first time I set foot there, I was driven by an intense longing to visit one particular spot: the Nouvelle Chicane.
Here, you can sit on the ground and feel the rush of cars as they pass mere inches away. You witness the mesmerizing ballet of braking after the long tunnel, and the breathtaking dance through the chicane, where the cars flirt with the barriers, separated by mere millimeters.
The thrill, the danger, and the elegance all blend into a symphony of motion, creating an
unforgettable spectacle.
